  • He participated in the first edition of 'Kitchen Bridge Ambassador Program
  • He started studying IT at university, but whilst working in the kitchen at Erwin Drechsler’s Metropolis restaurant he realised that his true vocation was professional cooking.
  • He learned his trade in various kitchens before opening his own restaurant in 1999: Blackbird, which now boasts a Michelin Star.
  • He is executive chef and member of the corporate group One Off Hospitality Group which includes 12 restaurants spread across Chicago.
  • He is internationally acclaimed and has received much praise and many prizes in recent years.
