The Hostelco fair has drawn to a close for another year. There, we introduced to you what's new at Sammic and our techniques, offering tasting menus made using Sammic equipment, the success of which we are delighted to share with you in the next video.
New equipment introduced...
As usual, we brought with us both our established product ranges along with our recently launched equipment, the latter of which included our new double chamber, tilting cover commercial vacuum packing machine SV-6100 / SV-6160 . With each chamber having two 662 mm sealing bars, this vacuum packing machine, available with 100 or 155m3/h vacuum pump and with or without inert gas flush, responds to big production requirments.
To our food preparation range, we introduced our new scales for kitchen and sales point. With different loading capacities and precision levels, some models are "M" certified. These Sammic scales are the ideal appliances to obtain exact portions in the restaurant and will soon be available. Our second introduction in this range was of two new combi commercial food processors CK-302 / CK-402, now with 8 lt. cutter bowl.
... and an announcement that has created great interest
For the first time we have introduced a new generation of commercial, highly precise sous-vide cookers called SVide. Designed and manufactured by Sammic, these low temperature cookers allow for direct cooking or to regenerate pre cooked food before service.
Sammic already markets a range of commercial sous-vide cookers but the new generation goes beyond its predecessors, in precision and performance, and will be available in a few months. Stay tuned!
During this year’s Hostelco we have been accompanied by our corporate chef Enrique Fleischmann and our collaborator chef in Canary Islands Seve Díaz. Fleischmann has worked together with part of his team from Fleischmann's Cooking Group and has prepared delicious express tasting menus for our visitors. Seve Díaz has delighted us with his special creations between meals and with the help of the students from Escola de Hostelería de Castelldefels, they have contributed noticeably to the success of this event.
