A Christmas tale...by Sammic
Merry Christmas... with Olentzero. Olentzero is a character in Basque Christmas tradition. According to Basque traditions Olentzero comes to town late at night on the 24th of December to drop off presents for children who have been good, coal for those who have not.
At Sammic we have been playing reverse roles, and we have been imagining what we would give to Olentzero. An immersion circulator, an hand mixer, a veg prep machine, a vacuum packing machine, a pyjamas, a little bit of cordiality to give out all over the world... lots of ideas for all tastes. However, as the tradition commands, it has been Olentzero who has visited us loaded with gifts.
