Revit family documents, available on the web
In reply to the growing demand of our distributors and consultants, we have developed REVIT FAMILY files of our products. This is the most common file format for equipment according to BIM. REVIT FAMILY (RFA) files are elements that can be used to insert specific elements into a REVIT (RVT) project.
Our RFA files contain 3D blocks of Sammic equipment together with a series of parameters follwing BIM norms. These files also contain all connections (electric, water, drainage, etc.) in a standard format, so that it can be interpreted by the REVIT project the project house or consultant is working in. Thus, an RFA element can interact with other elements included in the RVT project.
Revit is a design and documentation platform that supports the design, drawings, and schedules required for building information modeling (BIM). BIM delivers information about project design, scope, quantities, and phases when you need it. Revit uses 3 types of elements in projects: model elements, datum elements, and view-specific elements. Elements in Revit are also referred to as families. The family contains the geometric definition of the element and the parameters used by the element. Each instance of an element is defined and controlled by the family.
Sammic's RFA files are available for authorized distributors, engineers and consultants. Register on the website to obtain access to the documents, and contact us if you are a registered user but have no access to these files.
