The next step? The judges take time to read the essays, look through resumes, and evaluate the other criteria.
We have a crop of talented young cooks from the United States to sift through this round. They were each required to submit a short cooking video, and these videos are viewable on the BasqueStage website.
Who wil be the next to be flown, chef-star style, to Basque Country, knife bag packed and chef whites pressed? Who will walk into the kitchen of Martín Berasategui in July, ready to see a world-renowned restaurant from the inside? Who will spend six months in a food-lover’s paradise?
